Top tier Global Macro fund seeks a Middle Office Operations Associate to support the trading in domestic and foreign debt and equity markets. Candidate must have some experience with supporting rates trades and FX forwards and derivatives. With 15+ Billion AUM and 60 ppl this role offers not only stability, daily exposure to front office and senior leadership but also exposure to all facets from front to middle office support.

Responsibilities Include:

• PnL & risk reporting and reconciliation.
• Daily processing of trades in the FX, Equity, Mortgage, Rates, Credit and Commodity markets.
• Reconciliation (fail control) of positions and cash balances.
• Perform margin settlement process for collateral and exchange traded products.
• Month-end NAV close duties -Work with Fund Administrator & Fund controller to review OTC market value reconciliations, expense accruals and investor level P&L allocations.
• Working closely with counterparties, prime brokers & fund administrators to resolve discrepancies.
• Other ad-hoc requests from traders, risk management, Head of Operations and CFO

Requirements/Qualifications :

• 2-7 years’ relevant experience at a hedge fund or fund administrator.

• Understanding of trade entry & reconciliation for global macro products such as futures, equities, bonds, interest rate swaps, swaptions, FX forwards and options, total return equity swaps.

• Ability to understand trading, booking and settlement of Equities, Debt, FX, Futures, & OTC instruments.

• Monitor third-party platforms like DTCC, Markitwire, Traiana, ICE, prime broker portals, and administrator systems for trade management.

• Understanding of the month-end close process. Investor level accounting knowledge a plus.

• Strong excel skills are required. Visual basic, SQL, knowledge a plus.

• Should be driven, detail oriented, have the ability to work in fast paced environment.

• Desire for process improvement and efficiencies.
