Job Description – Lighting Designer:

Full-Time position for a Lighting Designer at a small, growing, engineering firm in Riverton, UT. We are looking for a fun, energetic, self-motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. Responsibilities:

Assists in planning, developing and coordinating interior/exterior lighting design solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-family type projects including:

· AutoCAD and/or REVIT lighting plans showing layouts of devices, circuiting, schedules for specification of equipment, and installation details.

· Lighting calculations and renderings utilizing AGI32, Visual, Elumtools or equal.

· Generating COMCheck reports for energy compliance.

· Selection and specification of light fixtures and filling out light fixture schedules.

· Reviewing of lighting prior approvals and/or submittals.

· Responding to lighting plan review comments and RFI’s.

Qualifications:

· 2+ years’ experience in lighting design.

· Proficiency in AGI32, Visual, or Elumtools.

· Proficiency in MS Office.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.

· Familiar with National Electrical Code, NFPA and building codes as it pertains to lighting design.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

· Ability to be self-motivated and meet deadlines while working individually and in a team environment.
