STATUS: Full-Time or Part-Time (29 hours max-per week for P/T)
RATE: $14.00+ per hour (DOE)

This position is responsible for participating as a team member of the store providing exceptional performance and efforts in the areas of customer service, product sales, and operating processes; supporting Store and Field Management in day-to-day operations of the store. This includes helping commercial and retail customers in all aspects of their needs, from mixing paint to picking out the right tools needed for the job and making deliveries when needed to customer job sites and shops. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Possess and demonstrate a collaborative, positive attitude with customers and fellow Rodda employees
· Answering basic customer inquiries in-person and by phone
· Assisting customers with selecting products and colors
· Tinting and mixing paint accurately
· Accurately recording work records, processing sales and product inquiries with POS system
· Inventory control, receiving, stocking shelves, rotating stock
· Delivering customer orders in a company vehicle
· Areas of responsibilities – store safety and operational duties as assigned
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
· At least 18 years of age
· Ability to read and write English, plus basic math skills, differentiate colors, operate a computer, and communicate via telephone.
· The job is performed while standing with regular walking and the lifting and carrying of various paint containers and related items. Full physical mobility is required for the performance of every store position.
· Able to retrieve products and merchandise from shelves, stand, walk, lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
· Reliability – Timely and predictable attendance is required, scheduling must remain flexible and available
· Valid driver's license in the state where applying. Maintain company safe driving standards throughout employment
· Able to pass a criminal background check/driver's abstract prior to hiring.
· Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
· High School Graduate or GED Equivalent

· Hires for this position from May 1st through December 31st, 2021 will receive retro pay increases at 60 & 120 days as well as a $1000 retention bonus following 6 months of employment. To be eligible, required training benchmarks must be completed, a 90-day probationary period met, as well as favorable attendance and performance reviews at 60, 90, 150 days.

Company Description
Rodda Paint, one of the largest paint manufacturers in the Pacific Northwest, makes paints and other coatings that it sells in its 55 stores located throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana ,Oregon, and Washington. (It also sells through independent dealers in California, Montana, and Nevada.) Art Rodda founded Rodda Paint in 1932. In 2004 Rodda joined forces with an even larger regional paints maker, Canadian company Cloverdale Paint. The two companies merged operations but kept using separate names in their respective countries and maintained separate management teams.
