  • Responsibilities

    Provides Intensive Outpatient Program and general outpatient services to a treatment court population. Assure adherence to state statutes and rules, CARF standards, and federal regulations including HIPPA and 42 CFR Part 2. Positively represents the organization and promotes Rimrock’s Mission to the community.

    THE HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 9AM TO 8PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

    WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE:

    • Empower clients through healthy relationship building.
    • Advocate for our clients and the success of their recovery.
    • Functions as a therapist for individuals assigned to the Court ordered treatment program and provides individual and group therapy and assures the flow of services and program coordination.
    • Works with the Clinical Supervisor to interpret the biopsychosocial database for the purpose of identifying and prioritizing the clinical problems to be addressed.
    • Provides discharge planning services and assures continuing care plans for patients at the appropriate level of care.
    • Function as member of treatment team and demonstrate ability to coordinate needed services for patient and to communicate with supervisor for court purposes, as well as providing input on client progress.

     

    EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science-related curriculum.

     

    CERTIFICATE OR LICENSE: Must be licensed in the State of Montana as an LAC.

     

    SKILLS: Therapy skills, clinical assessments; ability to screen for mental health disorders and ability to interpret biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.  Individual and group counseling skills.  Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft software including Word, Excel and Outlook.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is indoors in an office environment with moderate noise.  Intermittent physical effort involving lifting of up to 25 pounds, walking and stooping is required.  A typical workday involves sitting, frequent use of a keyboard, reaching with hands and arms, and talking and hearing, approximately 70% of the time.  Approximately 30% or less of the time is spent standing.  Normal vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB LOCATIONS: Involves everyday risks or discomforts, requiring normal safety precautions in an office setting, patient care areas, sub-acute medical care area and personal or company patient transport vehicle.  Some outdoor exposure when supervising patients outdoors and in recreation programming.  Will work primarily at Treatment Court Offices.
