    Estimating/budgeting electrical construction projects, working in concert with the Lead Estimators, Senior Estimators, Estimators, and other Department Personnel.

    Participate in the Electrical day-to-day operation and undertakings as follows:

    • Demonstrate the ability to be a self-motivated individual working in a team environment
    • Provide accurate and comprehensive Electrical Estimates
    • Develop Work Plans and Schedules
    • Assist with Cost and Progress Tracking
    • Comply with Company Safety Policy/Procedure, and goals
    • Work with the Estimating Manager and other discipline estimators on large Multi-craft project estimates.
    • Participate in Bid Reviews and Post Job Analysis.
    • Utilize your previous education, training, and experience in support of the Electrical efforts, workload and profitability and for the Company.
    • Stay current with Industry methods and trends.
    • Identify training and resource improvement opportunities and communicate them to the
    • Electrical Lead for approval and implementation.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    Four-year degree in Construction Management, Business Management, or Engineering curriculum with emphasis on Electrical discipline of work.

    Or

    Five years of experience in Electrical construction estimating and supervision of electrical construction projects. (Provide Project Information upon request)

    Six to ten years experience in electrical construction estimating and supervision preferred.

  • Qualifications
    • Coordinating installation work schedules with customers, installers, inside sales quoter, and general contractor
    • Overseeing field work through KPS site construction manager and/or approved 3rd party contractor
    • Estimating and bidding for US and Canadian turnkey projects
    • Contacting installing contractors to secure installation services, negotiate terms, and issue purchase orders
    • Traveling to field sites to meet with installers, contractors, and customers to coordinate the review, installation, perform scopes, promote products/services, resolve problems, and attend construction site meetings
    • Reconciling purchase orders and approving contractor/vendor invoices while acquiring required closeout documentation
    • Carrying out HR activities including staffing, coaching, counseling, and performance management
    • Coordinating punch-list resolution with contractors, customers, and general contractors
    • Coordinating service and miscellaneous order support from KPS Global’s internal resources
    • Troubleshooting installation and product issues
    • Representing the company with customer field and purchasing personnel while assisting customers in the testing of KPS products and services
