    Job Summary:

    As a General Building and Unit Maintenance team member, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repairs of our property and transportation units. Your primary focus will be to ensure the building, grounds, and units are in excellent condition and meet safety standards. The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic, a diverse skill set in building maintenance, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    Responsibilities:

    · Conduct routine inspections of buildings and premises to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.

    · Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks such as light carpentry, painting, light plumbing, and light electrical

    · Respond promptly to maintenance requests from ops and management and prioritize tasks accordingly.

    · Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize future repairs and ensure building and vehicle systems operate efficiently.

    · Maintain and repair building and vehicle fixtures, equipment, and appliances.

    · Handle grounds keeping duties to keep the exterior areas in pristine condition.

    · Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and materials used.

    · Collaborate with ops, managers, contractors, and other team members to address complex maintenance issues.

    · Comply with all safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.

    · Assist with warehouse/ operational duties as needed

    Requirements:

    · Proven experience as a General Building and unit Maintenance or similar role.

    · Sound knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.

    · Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.

    · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues independently.

    · Basic understanding of building and unit needs.

    · Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with team members.

    · Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual labor and lifting requirements.

    · Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    · High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
