    Rogers Behavioral Health, the area's leader in behavioral health services, is looking for a 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) Intake Specialist to join our Oconomowoc location on AM/PM shift.

    Intake Specialists serve as patient advocates and allow access to life-changing care for members of the community. Intake Specialists work within a collaborative team including physicians, providers, other intake specialists and many other members of a multidisciplinary team.  Gain career experience to develop and progress with a nationally recognized behavioral health leader.

     

    Key responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):

    • Interview prospective patients for care to collect patient summary, history, symptoms, and diagnosis
    • Provide accurate and complete clinical documentation on screening to support decisions for appropriate level of care for each patient.
    • Assist in program education with patients and/or their representative to include admissions information, directions, financial information and other information about program offered at Rogers

     

     Requirements:

    1. Bachelor’s Degree required, new or upcoming graduates are eligible and encouraged to apply within three months prior to graduation
    2. Degree preferably in human services (i.e. psychology, social work, sociology, criminal justice, healthcare administration, public health)

     

    Preferred Job Skill Knowledge

    1. Hospitality and customer service experience
    2. Experience and proficiency with various technology outlets, including computer, software programs and sophisticated phone system

     

    Department is staffed 7 days a week, including holidays

    Shift: first and second shift

    Weekend and and holiday rotation is required

    Shift differential for nights, weekends and holidays
