    The primary function of the Post-doctoral Psychology Fellow is to provide clinical services to the patients under the supervision of the attending psychologist, as well as assist in organizing, coordinating and maintaining efforts related to outcome studies. Duties may include evaluation of patients for admission to the Program, completion of diagnostic interviews and assessments, participation in interdisciplinary treatment meetings, creation and monitoring of measurable treatment goals, development of interventions appropriate for a diagnosis, collaboration with other staff in the coordination of care, and the provision of direct patient services.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Graduate of a doctoral program in psychology and must have completed all relevant didactic and practicum work.
    2. American Heart Association Healthcare provider CPR certification or American Red Cross Professional Rescue is required within thirty (30) days of date of hire. Annual re-certification is required.
    3. Formal training in management of the aggressive patient (SAFE/Self-Defense) is required within sixty (60) days of date of hire. Annual re-certification is required.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Must attend a minimum of two (2) hours per week of scheduled, face-to-face individual supervision.
    2. Must attend a minimum of four (4) hours per week of learning activities (case conferences involving cases in which the Fellow has participated, seminars dealing with clinical issues, co-therapy with staff person including discussion, group supervision and individual supervision).
    3. Must be capable of interacting effectively with a variety of people as part of the multidisciplinary team.
    4. Must attend required educational program and supervisory sessions as directed.
