    LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) CAMPUS

    Are you looking to be part of a team that utilizes a PATIENT CENTERED approach to care?  The LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE performs basic nursing activities in the care of patients so they may achieve or regain, and then maintain, maximum physical, emotional or social functions.  The LPN works with other members of the multidisciplinary TREATMENT TEAM, including Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses and Social Workers.

     

     

    Our LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES excel in:

    • PATIENT CARE including but not limited to medication administration, knowing and assisting program schedules, caring for patients hygienic and physical environment, and accompanying patients to meals.
    • Observation and documentation under direction of RN
    • Assisting in patient milieu
    • Being an ADVOCATE for our patients

     

     

     EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Licensed Practical Nurse licensed by Wisconsin State Board of Nursing
    • Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents and adults is preferred
    • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen
    • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
