    The Outreach Representative creates and implements in collaboration with outreach leadership a referral development strategy that maximizes referrals, supports Rogers’ brand as a provider of quality services, and initiates and maintains professional relationships within a designated market to ensure the success of Rogers Behavioral Health. This position supports census goals for Rogers’ outpatient, inpatient, and residential services. The position coordinates with clinical and administrative leadership and clinical teams; relationship building with referring providers; and connecting with patients, family members and the public to share information or resources.

    Responsibilities include understanding and communicating market competitive trends and service needs, sharing family and referent feedback, strategic planning with guidance from leadership, and implementation of referral development.

    • Proactively seek and demonstrate considerable knowledge of Rogers’ services and program outcomes.
    • Increase awareness of and access to Rogers’ services for patients, families, and referring professionals including hospitals, psychiatrists, clinics, psychologists, schools, psychotherapists, etc. through meetings, events, tours, calls, and more.
    • Maintain record of all referent interactions within Salesforce, including account and contact demographics, type of activity, and needs assessment results and priorities.
    • Ensure strong working relationship with regional outreach manager, director of business development, program managers, operations directors, clinical leadership, and clinical teams including social services and discharge planners.
    • Cross-promote Rogers’ service to Rogers’ employees and providers who refer current patients to other levels of care.
    • Assist with budgeting process and ongoing expense management by using a cost-effective approach.
    • Work as a team player, focused on cooperation and collaboration to perform in a positive and effective manner.

    EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably majoring in business, communications, or psychology, social work, or related major.
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience.
    • Experience with strategic planning, new business development, and negotiation.
    • Computer proficiency and working knowledge of software programs, including Word and Excel.
    • Valid driver’s license. Must be granted insurable status by the Rogers insurance policy.
    • Physically/Mentally able to perform job duties as verified by a physical exam by a licensed physician, per post-employment physical.

    SCHEDULE:

    Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with some work completed outside of these hours (conferences, events, etc.)
