    Rogers Behavioral Health, the area's leader in behavioral health services, is looking for a 1.0 Intake Coordinator to join our Madison location on Day shifts.

    The Lead admissions intake and insurance coordinator will provide leadership and staff development to the admissions and insurance review department in addition to functioning in an Intake Specialist and Patient Care Specialist (PCS) role as needed. He/she may also be involved in managed care relationships as coordinated with the managed care coordinator.

    Required Skills

    1. Self-defense training is required within 60 days of hire. Annual recertification is required.
    2. Extensive knowledge of managed care, Medicaid and Medicare.
    3. Utilization review experience in a hospital, outpatient or managed care setting.
    4. Knowledge of the DSM, medical and mental health and chemical dependency diagnosis and treatment process.
    5. Computer skills required.
    6. Knowledge of JCAHO documentation and medical records standards.
    7. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
    8. Knowledge of psychiatric clinical criteria.

    Required Experience

    1. Bachelor's Degree in behavioral science required, Master's Degree preferred.
    2. Experience providing case management and facilitating patient care.
