    The Perinatologist specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine and is an obstetrician/gynecologist who deals with high-risk pregnancies or special problem pregnancies. The Perinatologist will provides medical care for a broad range of problems encountered in pregnancy, such as twin, triplet, or more; diabetes; premature labor and other specials conditions occurring in pregnancy, including previous adverse outcomes.

    Required Skills

    • Demonstrates expertise in communication: able to work with team members, OB/GYNs, specialists, nursing directors, and hospital departments to effectively facilitate the care of patients
    • Provides patient care in a manner consistent with Group standards, medical staff by-laws, pathways/best practices
    • Knowledgeable regarding a Maternal-Fetal Medicine
    • Provides medical care for a broad range of problems that may occur in pregnancy including but not limited to twins, triplets, or more, diabetes, premature labor and other special conditions.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities.
    • Independent performer.

    Required Experience

     

    • Current California Medical license
    • Graduate from an accredited Medical School
    • Graduate form an accredited OB/GYN Fellowship Program
    • Graduate from an accredited Maternal-Infant Medicine Program
    • Three to Five (3-5) years direct patient care as a Perinatologist
    • Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirements
    • Board Certification: Board OB/GYN and Maternal- Fetal Medicine

     

     

     

  • Qualifications
