Job Description

Rogers Mechanical Contractor’s, LLC (“RMC”, “Company”) HVAC Assistant Project Manager is responsible for providing the highest level of support to the Project Managers. The HVAC Assistant Project Manager will help to facilitate any construction, replacement, retro-fit, service or repair projects. This position is also responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers, and trade partners. Travel intermittently as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (LIST IS NOT INCLUSIVE)

§   Assist Project Managers (PM) with the preliminary steps on any replacement projects. This includes preparing quotes, reviewing blueprints, creating material lists, and determining an initial scope of work.

§   Support the PM by creating, managing & updating project folders.

§   Directly support the PM by receiving & organizing parts and materials for jobs.

§   Place orders for parts/materials as specified per job.

§   Communicate with the vendor to ensure materials are correct and delivered on time.

§   Ensure the field team members have the materials they need to complete their functions with excellence.

§   Act as the liaison between the PM and the vendor.

§   Facilitate any special arrangements for projects including special parts, materials, labor, and/or PPE.

§   Facilitate the permitting process including special permit and COI requests as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

§   Must have two (2) years’ experience in HVAC, or a similar industry

§   Excellent verbal and written skills

§   Impeccable time management skills

§   Must have a successful track record in customer growth and relationship management

§   Ability to think independently; self-started: results driven

§   You must be an intelligent creative problem solver

§   Hours to be available are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday, may work overtime – must be flexible.
