THEY NEED TO | | | BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY VARIOUS TYPES OF | | | ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS AND UNDERSTAND | | | HOW THOSE COMPONENTS FUNCTION WITHIN | | | THE GIVEN CIRCUIT AND AFFECT THE | | | CIRCUIT. THEY NEED TO BE ABLE TO | | | CALCULATE THE EXPECTED | | | VOLTAGE/RESISTANCE AT VARIOUS POINTS | | | ALONG THE CIRCUIT AND USE THAT | | | INFORMATION TO PROBE THE BOARD TO | | | VERIFY THE EXPECTED RESULT/FIND THE | | | POINT OF FAILURE. THEY ALSO NEED TO | | | BE ABLE TO VISUALLY INSPECT THE | | | BOARD FOR SOLDER DEFECTS OR OTHER | | | DAMAGE.
