    We are proud to offer company funded continuing education for all full-time clinicians through our internal education division, Upstream Rehab Institute. The Upstream Rehab Institute’s offerings center around the development of skilled clinical reasoning and hands-on skill development informed by knowledge of best evidence and integration of the values and characteristics unique to each patient. Our Upstream Rehab institute also offers two (2) APTA accredited Residency programs, in both Sports and Orthopedic.

    WHAT WILL YOU DO?

    Joining our team, you’ll be expected to provide the most effective, evidence-based care through clinically superior physical therapy treatments, evaluations, and related services as established by state law. We understand that each patient is different, not only in their diagnoses but their story and what motivates them so you will tailor each treatment plan to each individual; listen to their goals and aspirations to create a plan that works for them.

    Some of your other responsibilities will include:

    • Build long-lasting relationships with patients, colleagues, doctors/physicians/referral sources

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control and safety.
    • In depth knowledge about various eye diseases.
    • Good understanding of all Medical Assistant competencies
    • With consideration of age, occupation, facial characteristics & prescription, make recommendations on frames, lenses and coatings when administering optical service and care to patients
    • Knowledge of computer keyboard, ability to type at least 40 words per minute
    • Knowledge of computerized practice management systems and other computerized systems (Microsoft   office programs and electronic health records systems)
    • Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast paced situations
    • Good telephone management skills
    • Ability to work in an environment involving a high level of activity
    • Good organization skills
    • Ability to identify and solve problems
    • Good communication skills, bilingual in Spanish helpful
    • Valid driver’s license and car insurance policy coverage; reliable transportation
