Job Description
** Purpose**
Ensuring that the financial reporting and planning is reliable and effective. The Finance Controller works for several assigned business units and supports these according to local legislation.
** Key Responsibilities and key result area’s**
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review monthly closing.
- Prepare management reporting.
- Prepare financial analysis.
- Review financial statements and filing reports.
- Review payroll journal entries.
- Review VAT returns.
- Review sales invoices.
- Review and analyze expenses and revenues.
- Assist management in preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor all budgets for assigned business units.
- Implementation of transfer pricing policy.
- Advise management on various matters (i.e. investments and equipment)
- Participate in relevant financial improvement projects and other initiatives.
- Review balance sheet specification.
- Manage the assistant controller(s).
- Contribute to defining the group level policies and procedures.
- Responsible for compliance to group policies and procedures within the Finance area of the assigned business unit.
- Manage the financial audit of the assigned business unit.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by manager or supervisor.
