  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ** Purpose**

    Ensuring that the financial reporting and planning is reliable and effective. The Finance Controller works for several assigned business units and supports these according to local legislation.

    ** Key Responsibilities and key result area’s**

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Review monthly closing.
    • Prepare management reporting.
    • Prepare financial analysis.
    • Review financial statements and filing reports.
    • Review payroll journal entries.
    • Review VAT returns.
    • Review sales invoices.
    • Review and analyze expenses and revenues.
    • Assist management in preparation of budgets and forecasts.
    • Monitor all budgets for assigned business units.
    • Implementation of transfer pricing policy.
    • Advise management on various matters (i.e. investments and equipment)
    • Participate in relevant financial improvement projects and other initiatives.
    • Review balance sheet specification.
    • Manage the assistant controller(s).
    • Contribute to defining the group level policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for compliance to group policies and procedures within the Finance area of the assigned business unit.
    • Manage the financial audit of the assigned business unit.
    • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by manager or supervisor.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Higher Vocational Education (Business Administration, Business Economics, Accounting, Controlling) or equivalent
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
    • Meet all requirements as stated in the company competence and training matrix
