    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll-off trucks to support Blue Bear Waste Services' mission of providing reliable waste hauling solutions. This role ensures timely pickup and delivery of roll-off containers, maintains high safety standards, and provides excellent service to customers.

    Work hours vary seasonally and according to customer demand. During peak periods, schedules may extend up to 14-hour days and as many as 60 hours per week. Saturdays may be required as needed.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Operate roll-off trucks safely and efficiently.
    • Complete assigned routes and service orders in a timely manner.
    • Inspect vehicles before and after use; report needed repairs.
    • Maintain clean driving record and comply with all DOT regulations.
    • Utilize company systems for trip logs, service confirmations, and communication.
    • Provide exceptional customer service at all job sites.
    • Work overtime as business needs require.
    • Keep accurate records and documentation as required.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATION

    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Valid CDL with at least 12 months of working experience
    • Roll-off, hook-lift, or related experience preferred
    • Clean driving record
    • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
    • Must provide current MVR (no older than 30 days), CDL, and Medical Card at time of application
    • Knowledge of safety procedures and DOT compliance
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    • This role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, climbing in/out of trucks, and operating heavy equipment. Requires full range of body movement, such as turning, stooping, kneeling and climbing. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
