Join our fast‑paced production team as a Roller Press Operator and play a key role in bringing high‑quality materials to life! In this hands‑on role, you’ll operate and maintain our roller press machine to create smooth, wrinkle‑free laminations across fabrics, films, adhesives, and more. You’ll be setting up equipment, preparing and cutting materials into order‑ready blocks, and keeping a close eye on quality every step of the way. Our regular work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6:00am to 3:15pm and Friday, 6:00am to 11:00am
Job Duties include:
Set up and operate roller press machines to smoothly laminate fabrics, films, adhesives and other types of materials into “sandwiched blocks” in accordance with production specifications.
Assist with operating roller press machine for processing and quality inspecting sublimated fabric - yardage, cut apparel garment pieces and fabric “blocks” used for graphic trim components (i.e. – team Wordmarks, Numbers, patches, etc.).
Load fabrics, films, adhesives and other types of materials onto the roller press machine, ensuring they are aligned and positioned correctly for pressing.
Observe the operation of the roller press to ensure fabrics and materials are being processed without wrinkles, creases, or defects. Adjust settings such as pressure, speed, and temperature to accommodate different fabric types, thickness and lamination requirements.
Inspect pressed materials to ensure that they meet quality standards, checking for smoothness, uniformity, color consistency and the absence of marks or damage.
What you will need to have:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate or learn to use manufacturing and/or roller press equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Previous experience in apparel manufacturing or production environment a plus.
Work well with others by listening, communicating clearly and creating a positive and respectful environment.
Basic reading, writing and math skills are required to effectively perform job responsibilities.
The ability to lift, move, or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Basic knowledge of computer operations and able to use a handheld tablet.
