  • Responsibilities

    Provides support to the Manager and staff in the Food & Nutrition Services department according to the policies and procedures of the department. These activities contribute to efficient operations of the department and require working closely with internal and external departmental and hospital staff.

    Required Skills

    • Accurate typing; greater than 40wpm preferred.
    • Effective written and verbal communications with all levels of hospital groups, vendors, and others.
    • Mastery of general office skills (photocopying, basic mathematics, document formats and style, filing, etc.)
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge and ability to perform tasks with other office software.
    • Detail orientated and organized.
    • Ability to adapt to constant interruptions.
    • Ability to recognize, establish and deal with priorities as unexpected situations arise.
    • Follows written and verbal instructions; meets/exceeds deadlines.
    • Prepares clear written communications and verbally communicates information accurately.

    Required Experience

    Required:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • High school diploma/GED

    Preferred:

    • One to three years office experience, preferred.
    • Cashiering experience is a plus.
    • Food service experience, preferred.
