RESURGENS SURGICAL CENTER is a single specialty orthopedic practice. We are looking for a top-performer with solid knowledge of Pre- operative and PACU/ Recovery Nursing .This is a fast paced environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes in Georgia. THIS POSITION IS FOR A FULL TIME PACU REGISTERED NURSE. Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, the PACU nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients'' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate. Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Required Skills Required Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current GA Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years experience in PACU preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
• Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Excellent teaching skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)
• Strong customer service skills

SALES:

• Develop personal contacts that lead to new sales opportunities.
• Write and submit sales proposals in a timely fashion.
• Give sales presentations as necessary.
• Develop relationships with commercial and residential divisions of sister companies.
• Monitor competition in assigned area to remain competitive.
• Proved technical assistance and training to field personnel on Sales Person’s accounts and as requested by the DM.
• Be an active participant in quickly solving customer complaints and collecting money.
• Maintain positive, cooperative relationships with all people within the organization.
• Complete quality control inspections of large jobs (over $3,000)
• Follow up with all customers to ensure satisfactory completion of jobs sold.
• Actively attend networking meetings as requested by the DM.

FURTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma required; four year degree preferred e.g., Agriculture, Biology, Business, Marketing, Entomology, Forestry, Range Management or Wildlife Sciences
• Military or job related experience is also accepted, e.g., wildlife and/or forestry, sales, estimation, marketing customer service, contracts, collections, processing transactions, field service, environmental services/sanitation, animal exclusion solutions, construction/repairs, etc.
