    Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Uptown is a part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). USPI owns and operates multiple surgical hospitals and ambulatory surgical care centers throughout the United States and London; with headquarter located in Addison, TX.

     

    Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, this position is responsible for ensuring the coordination of tasks, projects and communication across the hospital. Duties include assisting research of special projects and creating new databases and reporting tools for monitoring, tracking and trending, based on project specifications. Will be responsible for timely completion of projects, including creating timelines for development and maintenance and coordinating activities and data collection. Must be proficient in compiling data, creating reports and presenting information, including expertise with reporting tools. May be involved in the planning and execution of hospital-based events. Will also have the responsibility of minor marketing functions to ensure brand recognition and consistency. Must be able to meet established deadlines, function independently while working on multiple projects, and assimilate knowledge. Management of processes and systems to develop training for staff. Provides project management support to leadership and departmental teams across the hospital.  

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the CEO, Operational Reporting Analyst prepares monthly reports for the physicians (which will include financial information), Press Ganey reporting, and block time utilization. Other reporting includes insurance company payment trends, or any reports that would help the hospital operations. Analyze reports and communicate data in to senior management.

    Required Skills

    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  

    • Bachelors Degree in finance, business or economics preferred.
    • Hospital Experience preferred
    • Excellent Microsoft product knowledge (Excel, Power Point, Access, and Word) are also required
    • Possess the ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
    • Ability to assess, condense and analyze complex data
    • Understanding of basic financial statements
    • Ability to communicate complex data in an effective manner to all levels of the organization
