The Corporate Accounting & Reporting team is the cornerstone of the Company’s accounting functions. This team collaborates across the entire organization and provides the guidance and support to our business partners. This role has the opportunity to create long-term, sustainable changes that will move the organization forward in supporting the Company’s goals and you will be responsible for assisting with and preparing timely and accurate financial reporting to help drive profitability and results. This role provides a unique opportunity to see the Corporate accounting work materialize into external financial statements used by the investor community.
MISSION:
Perform accounting functions requiring thorough knowledge of general accounting methods, principles and practices and a broad understanding of a corporate organization. Develops and implements solutions to daily accounting issues and prepares accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
- Support financial (SEC) reporting process, including preparation of Cash Flow Statement and preparation of footnotes & disclosures and/or supporting schedules to comply with all applicable rules and standards for all the Company’s SEC filings (10Q, 10K etc.).
- Perform the accounting and monthly close process for assigned activities which could include any of the following (i.e., fluxes, rebates, revenue recognition, insurance, pensions, investments, cash, accruals, and other corporate accounting areas).
- Provide timely and accurate reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts.
- Perform technical accounting research to assist in resolving accounting and reporting issues (i.e., problems and/or answer questions from business partners), writing memo’s and assist in maintaining and updating company policies and procedures.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement for all Accounting processes, engaging process design conversations and making recommendations.
- Play a key role in audits and SOX testing and work closely with internal and external auditors.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, holds CPA or on track for CPA required
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience in a large corporate environment which includes (technical) accounting and/or financial reporting, corporate accounting, and knowledge of US GAAP, SEC and related interpretations.
- Public accounting experience preferred but not required.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required.
- Project management a plus.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley 404
- Experience with Group Reporting, SAP/4HANA, CFIN and/or BlackLine is a big plus
