  • Responsibilities

    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | #LI-HR1 | | | | - Compile data for daily production and downtime reports as well as | | weekly and monthly summaries of each. | | - Accurately manage the shipment materials in accordance with the | | plant’s production schedule and master plan in a timely and | | cost-effective manner. | | - Coordinate the flow and delivery of all raw materials to ensure the | | production floor has all necessary components to produce | | finished goods. | | - Synchronize with the warehouse to guarantee materials arrive, | | maximizing storage space for finished goods production and storage. | | - Maintain records in ERP system to ensure visibility to management | | and corporate demand planning team. | | - Requisition materials and maintain a 3-month outlook according to | | the master plan. | | - Review delivery date changes systematically for coordination with | | purchasing and production. | | - Arrange in-plant transfers from off-site warehouse(s) to meet | | production schedule. | | - Ability to compute material required as it applies to the | | manufacturing process and alert sales team of inventory level and | | forecast change needs.    | | - Run inventory reports, reviewing status and locations for accuracy. | | - Inventory records are to be reviewed daily, providing the production | | control manager and scheduling coordinator with daily updates | | about exceptions. | | - Keeps track of new customer orders and product requirements. | | - Review BOM (bill of material) changes and new item initiation in | | accordance with plant scheduling and sales. | | - Assist with the finalization of new items, checking for accuracy, | | requesting costing from finance and ensure accurate receiving will | | occur on the production floor prior to initial production run. | | - Assist with physical inventories as needed | | - Assists with administrative tasks  | | - Filing as needed | | | |   | | | |   | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

    Required Skills

    • A High School diploma and/or 2-year degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing setting
    • Intermediate proficiency level in the Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, formulas, graphs, charts).  
    • Competent math skills (i.e. basic math, percentages, ratios, decimals and formulas)
    • Experience working with ERP/ MRP systems, QAD experience a plus
    • Experience working in a manufacturing and production environment is preferred
