  • Responsibilities

    THE STAFFING ASSISTANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PRE-SCREEN RECRUITMENT, SELECTION, AND SCHEDULING, ON-BOARDING, AND TRAINING FOR STONE MOUNTAIN PARK’S SEASONAL EMPLOYEES. ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.  MANAGEMENT RETAINS THE DISCRETION TO CHANGE OR ADD TO THE DUTIES OF THIS POSITION.

    • Review all incoming applications for seasonal positions using Open Hire
    • Serve as primary telephone pre-screener for all seasonal requisitions
    • Monitor and meet pre-screen/interview quotas as set by the HR recruiter
    • Assist Recruiter with scheduling interviews and review requests
    • Generate appropriate correspondence to candidates using Open Hire
    • Enter and monitor all back ground checks using appropriate software needed
    • Facilitate and or attend job fairs, recruitment sites, and departmental group interviews
    • All other duties as assigned

    • Must have excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
    • Must be highly productive, maintain a sense of urgency, and be efficient in screening

    Required Experience

    • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT EDUCATION REQUIRED
    • ASSOCIATE’S DEGREE OR HIGHER PREFERRED
    • SOME EXPERIENCE IN RECRUITING, STAFFING, INTERVIEWING, AND SELECTION IS REQUIRED
    • GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF STATE AND FEDERAL SELECTION GUIDELINES AND EMPLOYMENT LAWS PREFERRED
