    The purpose of this position is to gather, reconcile and audit park-wide sales transactions using multiple systems and resources and also to provide vital daily, weekly and period information, whereby business decisions are made and team strategies are built. The position provides positive support for Finance Team and assigned divisions in a manner consistent with the mission and values of the Dollywood Company.

    Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Complete daily sales process utilizing multiple systems, cognitive thinking and numerous resources
    • Evaluate and reconcile data; perform audits according to procedures
    • Research, resolve and accurately report discrepancies with minimal assistance
    • Communicate audit results to teams in an accurate, timely and efficient manner
    • Support and be a resource for other Finance divisions as well as teams on Park
    • Perform Park Audits as needed
    • Assist in Training Staff
    • Balance and reconcile daily sales and attendance
    • Identify and champion more accurate and efficient processes within Sales Audit
    • Participate in Year End Merchandise Inventory Process
    • Develop, implement, modify, and document record-keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
    • Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts
    • Maintain and examine the records of government agencies and tax exempt certificates
    • Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records using current computer technology
    • Assist Finance staff with special projects; conduct various financial analyses, and prepare special request management reports
    • Preparation of year-end analyses and schedules for audit purposes
    • As assigned, review work of other staff, such as Accounts Payable records, to verify that policies and procedures have been followed

    Required Experience

    • Minimum 18 years of age
    • High School Diploma or GED required; two year accounting degree preferred
    • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Google Docs
    • 10 key by touch
    • Ability to learn various financial software
    • Valid Driver’s License and proof of Insurance
