Well established, fast-growing, CPA firm in downtown Hollywood is seeking a full time seasoned accountant or CPA!

We offer a base salary plus bonus and benefits, a competitive salary based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax return forms for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Assist with income tax research and planning
• Quantify and document federal and state income tax liabilities for tax returns, extensions and estimated payments.
• Maintain strong client relations
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in CPA firm in public accounting
• Prepare tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065, 1041) and others
• Communicate with clients (written and oral)
• Communicate with IRS (written and oral)
• Must be able to conduct tax research
• QuickBooks proficient
• Journal entries
• Ability to work well on a team, as well as independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Candidate should have the ability to work from write-up through a complete return.
• Must have experience with Individual, partnerships and corporate returns, payroll returns, sales tax forms and the ability to do tax research. Must be able to work QuickBooks, Excell, Lacerte tax software. International Tax experience is a plus.
• Spanish is a plus
