    Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is accounting and office assistance Job Functions: Accurately process a high volume of Accounts Payable invoices for approvals, project cost budgets, and expense reimbursement. Maintain accurate records of payables and property costs. Responsible for preparing accounts payable register and related reports as deemed necessary. Balance vendor account and credit card statements with receipts/invoices from personnel. Ensure vendor accounts are set up properly, and include all necessary documentation (i.e. W9 Forms, Workers Comp Insurance, or waiver). Ensure vendor insurance and documentation are kept in compliance. Assist Senior Corporate Accountant with any internal or external audits. Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality. Other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications: Skill in Microsoft Programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and current Windows operating system. Skill in working in all software accounting disciplines including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, job cost, service management, and general ledger. Ability to quickly and accurately input data into records, timetables, spreadsheet, ledgers, and software applications. Aptitude to easily learn new accounting software programs and computer applications. Internet skills that include the ability to send and receive emails, conduct research, and collect data. Well developed organizational skills, ability to multi-task. Detailed, ability to sort and organize data for multiple departments simultaneously. Knowledge of advanced accounting principles, practices and procedures, including job costing, work in progress (WIP) schedules, inventory, and finance. Knowledge of auditing procedures and techniques. Skill in performing detailed numerical computations. Skill in preparing detailed reports on a timely basis. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, contractors, owners, clients, and financial representatives. Ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, contractors, vendors, and clients. Conflict resolution skills in working with co-workers, supervisors, contractors, vendors, and clients. Ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet critical deadlines. Ability to understand and communicate with software technical support team and IT administrators.

    Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds.

    Education Requirements / Experience: accounting Courses in progress and 1 year of professional accounting assistant experience, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in finance and accounting principles, preferably in the real estate and property management industry.

    Key Performance Indicators: Key performance indicators are success indicators that are measured quarterly to determine if goals are being met. Key performance indicators for this position are listed as follows: Maintain accurate record of payables. Ensure vendor accounts are set up properly and include all necessary documentation (i.e. W9 forms, insurance, waivers, etc.) Ensure vendor insurance and documentation are kept in compliance. Ensure timely deposit of AR into division banking accounts. Complete a minimum of two (2) additional training seminar/webinars (supervisor approved) that are relevant to current job duties.
