Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic Roofer to join our team! In this role, you will cover roofs of modular drive-thru restaurants with roofing material designated in plans, as well as perform sealing and insulating processes as needed. You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a roofer is preferred and a positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:

Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs

Cover roofs with appropriate materials (shingles, slate, etc.)

Cement or nail flashing strips of metal or shingle over joints to make them watertight

Estimate materials and labor required to complete roofing jobs

Interact professionally with customers and co-workers and effectively communicate about the scope and status of work

Inspect problem roofs to determine the best repair procedures if needed in the field

Qualifications:

Past experience as a roofer preferred

Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools

Experience working with all types of building materials

Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time

Ability to work in extreme environments, e.g. hot sun, crawl spaces, etc. Most work done on site in our factory is under covered space.

Some local travel may be required on occasion.
