Outside Sales Representative Job Summary

As the face of Roofing Pups, you’ll be the main point of contact for our customers throughout the project and therefore have the opportunity to show both our customers and crews how much we care about their experience with us. ****

Outside Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities: (why it’s valued by our team)

• Travel within your territory to meet clients one-on-one
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, and how they can benefit our customers
• Manage and track sales and progress in customer relationship management software
• Support customers after initial sales to ensure satisfaction and realize opportunities for further sales

1. Proficient in people skills, being friendly & providing excellent customer service at all times > To build trust and a relationship with each customer allowing them to have comfort choosing you and Roofing Pups.
2. Willingness to be self sufficient and independent when it comes to managing your customer pipeline > Allows you to be available for all of your customers needs
3. Willingness to work outside in all types of weather > All jobs are outside so an appreciation for being outdoors will help the role be more enjoyable
4. Willingness to be open minded, open to learning and continuing education > To stay sharp and educated, to be able to proficiently educate and add value to the homeowner (In depth training is provided by the company)
5. Access to reliable transportation > Allows you to be able to drive to and from appointments, job sites and other company related events
6. Must have a smartphone and (preferably) laptop/ipad (ipad provided after hitting quotas) > Allows you to access our software platforms and applications that will be used on the job. Allows for documentation throughout each appointment and job
7. Must not be afraid to climb and inspect roofs > So you can safely inspect and document the condition of the roof during the appointment

Roof Specialist Responsibilities and Expectations: (why it matters / how it serves others)

1. Embody Roofing Pups culture and core values > Creates a sense of teamwork and shared purposes. Informs the team of the expected behaviors and actions to represent Roofing Pups and deliver great experiences
2. Efficiently inspect roofs, know how to locate and document storm damage, leaks and wear and tear > Allows you to guide the homeowner in the right direction with the description of work to be completed to ensure you create a solution to their problem
3. Be able to guide the homeowner through the insurance claims process from assisting them in filing a claim, all the way to closing it out > To set ourselves apart from other roofing companies by being educated on the insurance claims process
4. Generate leads through door knocking, referrals and social media/digital marketing. Always Be Networking! > Allows Roofing Pups to experience growth and to reach and service more people in our community. Helps people learn about Roofing Pups, what we do and the value we bring
5. Having knowledge in all different types of roofing systems > To be able to inform and educate the homeowner on their needs and what they are buying. There are several different types of roofing systems all with different ways of being installed as well as price differences
6. Be efficient in time management by being on time to all scheduled appointments > We stand out by going above and beyond and providing excellent customer service with every customer and that starts from the beginning by being on time
7. Efficiently work with office staff, admin, production and a project manager >To ensure jobs are being installed in a timely manner and up to the homeowners standards with excellence
8. Conduct proper ladder, roof, on site and driving safety at all times > Ensures everyone stays safe and goes home the way they came to work

As a Roof Specialist you will work closely with Tyler, the owner of Roofing Pups, LLC. This will give you the opportunity to learn first-hand how to become an effective Roof Specialist and give you insight into the inner workings of the business. As a growing business, we are committed to developing our employees so that they can grow with us. We do this through weekly training sessions, one-to-one mentorship and hands-on learning.

Your Reward for a Job Well Done!

This is a full time, w2 paid training + Commission with no limit in how much you bring home. Commision is based upon total revenue of a job with weekly pay. (Annual pay: $75k-$250K)
