Position Summary
As a Rookie, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests while providing an unforgettable pizza, served fresh and fast.
Essential Functions
Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and positive manner upon arrival and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary.
Present menu items and specials, take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Process guest orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and in a timely fashion.
Utilize restaurant point of sale system to enter orders and complete transaction of payment.
Answer phones, enter and prepare orders for carry out or delivery service.
Adhere to sanitation, safety, and food control policies.
Clean and prep of various food items for cooking or serving.
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and food prep equipment.
Maintain food prep areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Other duties as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
Sort and remove trash, placing in designated pick areas as well as clean waste receptacles routinely.
Sweeping and cleaning of floors throughout restaurant.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms through shift.
Prepare and breakdown dining/seating areas upon opening and closing of restaurant.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using equipment.
Skills and Knowledge
Strong knowledge of workplace safety and food handling procedures
Basic computer skills
Hands on experience handling, counting and managing money
Strong reading and writing skills are required
Organizational and time management skills

Environment and Physical Demands
Must be able to walk, stand, and/or remain stationary during entire shift

Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays or boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
Frequent washing of hands
