Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Rooms, the Room Attendant plays a key role in delivering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests. This position requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to high service standards. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Provide consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
Clean and service assigned guest rooms, suites, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards
Perform a full range of housekeeping duties, including:
Replenishing guest room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities
Inspecting rooms to ensure cleanliness, proper setup, and functionality of all equipment
Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department
Maintaining housekeeping carts, storage areas, and linen closets in an organized and clean manner
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
Respecting guest privacy and security, ensuring confidentiality at all times
Responding promptly to guest requests and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Assisting with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning tasks, and room preparations as needed
