    A Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a DoubleTree by Hilton has an exciting opportunity to join our housekeeping team as a Rooms Inspector. As a Rooms Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting designated guest rooms and/or public areas in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Responsibilities: • Room Inspectors meticulously examine guest rooms, verifying cleanliness, functionality of amenities, and adherence to established standards. • They record inspection results, noting any deficiencies, damages, or maintenance needs. • Room Inspectors communicate findings to housekeepers, maintenance teams, and management, ensuring prompt resolution of issues. • They ensure rooms are ready for guest arrival by verifying proper stocking of supplies and addressing any discrepancies. • Some roles may involve inventory checks of room amenities and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels. • Room Inspectors may interact with guests, addressing concerns and providing assistance as needed, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. • In some cases, Room Inspectors may assist in training new housekeeping staff and providing feedback on their performance. • They may communicate maintenance requests to the appropriate team and follow up to ensure the timely completion of repairs. Qualifications: • Prior hotel housekeeping experience. • Inspector-level experience is ideal. • Attention to detail. Compensation: $17 - $20 hourly
