Job Summary

We are looking for a hard-working and reliable Rooms Inspector to join our team! You will be inspecting our rooms and facilities with integrity and attention to detail. Our goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests, ensuring they will want to return and ultimately strengthening our reputation.

As a Rooms Inspector, your responsibilities will include making sure that every room is stocked with fresh towels, that the beds are perfectly made, and the bathrooms are impeccably clean. You will also respond to guests’ questions and make sure the rooms are fully-stocked, clean, and inviting at all times.

Responsibilities

Carefully inspect all rooms prior to guest check-in to ensure they meet the hotel’s high standards

Perform various cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, making beds, replacing towels, etc. as needed

Report any room damage or repair needs to the maintenance department right away

Respond to requests and/or guest complaints with professionalism and patience

Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and consumables and restock when necessary

Strictly adhere to health and safety rules and regulations

Qualifications

Proven experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, or room attendant preferred

Able to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance

Friendly, customer-oriented personality

Good organizational skills and an eye for detail

Able to work quickly without compromising quality

Able to be on your feet all day with light lifting

Compensation

$18 to $20 per hour

Part time hours 24 hours per week or less
