Job Description
RootRez is growing rapidly and seeks a technically savvy Supplier Manager to engage with our hotel and lodging suppliers in order to drive room nights and revenue for the B2B client accounts they are featured on (Sundance Film Festival, Times Square, Liftopia.com, Alta Ski Area, etc.). This critical function is heavily focused on increasing margin based on connectivity, ensuring rate parity, creating and collecting promotions, contracting new inventory, working with client success on value-add opportunities, and any other efforts to increase production volume. These objectives are interrelated into maintaining communications and the relationship development with the suppliers.
Successful candidates must be analytical, possess an aptitude for learning and using new software as well as be able to communicate clearly and effectively while building rapport. The candidate should be driven by measurable revenue growth goals, demonstrate attention to detail, and deliver high-level service to our suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Drive production strategy that fosters winning market share for each B2B client by ensuring the RootRez platform hosts the right assortment of product (hotel, condo, vacation rental) for supporting their localized experience objectives
· Optimizes connectivity options for live Availability, Rates & Inventory
· Maintain a cadence of communicating with the suppliers about their adoption trends, sentiment, and mining opportunities for deeper engagement.
· Act as a liaison between the suppliers and the Client Success Team to optimize supplier exposure on channels and establish viable partners for our clients to drive room nights and revenue.
· Create meaningful performance reporting and make data-driven analysis.
· Enable successful onboarding of new suppliers by managing the information flow internally to our operations team
· Facilitate training for the suppliers to maximize adoption of the tools available to them in the RootRez CRS including but not limited to the importance of available inventory, alignment of promotions, rate parity and marketing content.
· Execute success programs designed by our clients and the success team by leveraging the RootRez Booking Engine Technology.
· Evaluate and oversee connectivity channels for live availability, rates and inventory to ensure each technology brings value to the RootRez organization and our clients.
· Identify opportunities for suppliers to act as RootRez Advocates (i.e. testimonials and case studies).
· Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to support pilot clients, renewals and expansion opportunities.
· Marshall resources across RootRez as needed to support B2B clients and their travelers.
· Negotiate and secure inventory, competitive rates and exclusive promotions.
· Traveler experience conflict resolution
