Social Media & Brand Intern Rootastes - Somerville, MA 02143 Internship QUALIFICATIONS Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Greater Boston Area university and show demonstrable passion towards the companys brand and mission. Qualifications include: * Bachelors degree (or pursuit of) in communications, journalism or other relevant fields * Mastery of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn * Past work experience at a technology startup, food business, or hunger relief organization is a plus. * Demonstrable research, marketing, and writing skills * Relevant experience in food systems, sustainability, or business technology * A shareable portfolio of writing samples or past social media work * Ability to work 10-15 hours per month (combination of remote and in-office) Job Description Social Media * Manage the companys Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn profiles * Draft and schedule 5-10 posts per week across the companys social platforms * Manage and respond to social interactions across these platforms Content Marketing * Research and manage our content team for companys blog * Participate in ideation and content creation for companys marketing website Event Marketing * Review industry newsletters and media sources to identify relevant events to highlight * Setting up drip campaigns for event marketing About Rootastes: Rootastes is a curated lunchtime delivery service providing healthful, globally-inspired meals to corporate offices in Greater Boston.
