We are seeking a calm yet energetic and Montessori Head Toddler Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic, social and developmental level and designing instruction to meet each student's individual needs.

Desire to learn the Montessori Method and work with youngest children. You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students.

Responsibilities:

Learn the Montessori Method

Foster Independence

Assist children with developing social and emotional skills

Maintain the classroom environment

Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum

Communicate with parents and other school personnel

Assess students’ skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Work in Toddler classroom; Flexible for Infant -5 year olds

Qualifications:

AAS in Early Childhood or CDA and Agreement to certify in Montessori or Head Toddler Montessori Certification and experience in Infant/Toddler required

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Problem solving and mediation skills
