With a commitment to excellence and a focus on client satisfaction, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Labor and Employment Defense Attorney to join our thriving team. We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney with a background in litigation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record of successfully handling labor and employment matters or a demonstrated interest in employment law. Bi-lingual in Spanish will be given the highest priority. Responsibilities: • Litigation: Represent clients in labor and employment litigation matters, including but not limited to wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes. • Advice and Counseling: Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on various labor and employment issues, including policy development, compliance, and risk management. • Legal Research: Stay current on labor and employment laws and regulations, conducting legal research to ensure clients are informed and compliant. • Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and providing effective legal solutions. • Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively. • Trial and Trial preparation: prepare for and attend trial as necessary • Class Action and PAGA matters: handle litigation from start to finish including discovery, depositions, and motion work. • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus! Qualifications: • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Candidates must have passed the CALIFORNIA bar exam • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients Compensation: $105,000 - $175,000
