Lead Cost/Price Analyst

Location: On-site support at Huntsville, AL, Ft. Belvoir, VA, Dahlgren, VA, or Colorado Springs, CO

Summary of Position:

Our Client, an established company supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), is seeking a qualified Lead Cost/Price Analyst to join their team. As a Lead Cost/Price Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing cost/price analysis for assigned MDS program, sole source proposals, and source selection activities. You'll be responsible for guiding acquisition planning, cost proposal development, competitive source selection, and post-award support. Additionally, you will serve as an expert advisor on pricing policy matters and financial aspects of multi-million-dollar acquisition programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cost/price analysis for assigned MDS program, sole source proposals, and source selection activities.
• Provide cost/price assistance related to acquisition planning, cost proposal development, and pricing policy/training.
• Serve as an expert advisor to the MDA/CT, CT staff, acquisition managers, PCOs, and Contract Specialists on pricing policy matters.
• Evaluate the reasonableness and realism of Contractor proposed pricing and underlying quantitative aspects of proposals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding individual cost elements and overall pricing arrangement.
• Lead, define, manage, and integrate the overall cost/price evaluation effort.
• Coordinate with technical and field pricing personnel to obtain expert advice for negotiation.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS and 15 years as a cost/price analyst for a DoD buying activity or DCAA Auditor; or as a cost/price analyst, proposal analyst, or cost accountant at DoD contractor.
• 8+ years’ experience conducting cost/price analysis of complex cost-type proposals in a sole source environment.
• Experience in developing fully integrated, formula-driven MS Excel cost models.
• Familiarity with forecasting, learning curves, and regression analysis.
• Experience leading a team of cost/price analysts.

Desired Experience:

• Experience performing cost/price analysis at Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
• Experience in developing and delivering training on cost/price analysis topics.
• Experience in mentoring junior and journeyman level personnel.

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is Required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
