    Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Engineer to join their team in supporting the PMA 271 Program Office. With headquarters located in Lexington Park, Maryland, within 5 miles of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, our client is a privately held, rapidly growing company with a proud history of delivering quality products and services to the Department of Defense for over 19 years.     Position Overview: As a Senior Logistics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing Integrated Product Support (IPS) program management and logistics support to the NAVAIR PMA-271 TACAMO Recapitalization Program during the Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase. Your responsibilities will include developing a digital engineering strategy, managing program activities, and ensuring effective and economical support for manufacturing or servicing of products, systems, or equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a digital engineering strategy for the TACAMO Recapitalization Program, ensuring proper data flow across different security domains.
    • Research, identify, and recommend resources required for the management of product data.
    • Compile documentation of data structure and program development, ensuring compliance with DoD's data strategy.
    • Design and implement models, databases, and tools aimed at standardizing data analysis.
    • Develop a data security plan in accordance with DoD directives and instructions.
    • Direct and coordinate program activities to provide logistics technology to sub-contractors, management, and customers.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree (MS or MA) in Engineering, or Science.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in an engineering or logistics position, with at least three (3) years directly related to US DoD Naval systems.
    • Demonstrated knowledge in engineering or logistics expertise.
    • Highly desirable: Experience in NAVAIR Management & Integration of Production Support Elements during the early life-cycle stages of a DoD Acquisition Weapons System program.

    Security Clearance: Top Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
