  • Responsibilities

    The Production Balance Technician is responsible for safely and accurately balancing production runs of rotating equipment brought to our shop. You would be fully responsible for understanding the scope of the work and properly balancing each piece. You would be following exact processes and providing proper documentation to assure accuracy. The position involves interacting with co-workers and clients to assure the success of the project and the satisfaction of the customer.

    The work we do here ends up around the world in commercial aircraft, military applications, industrial sites, commercial buildings, agricultural equipment, and the list goes on.

    Included in the job is safely maneuvering customer equipment around our shop using cranes, forklifts, lifting by hand, etc. as well as driving of company vehicles to transport equipment as needed. We work with machine parts that weigh anywhere from 5 grams to 17,500 pounds. Machining, drilling, welding and grinding are an integral part of the job to bring parts within balance tolerance. The job requires the ability to work on your feet all day and lift up to 50 lbs.

    Training is provided, as are all tools necessary for the work. This is a full-time job involving over-time as needed.     • Machine shop experience a plus but not required
    • Forklift and crane experience a plus but not required
