Rotational Engineering position is designed to develop a newly graduated engineer into a well-rounded engineer within the business. The goal is to provide the exposure to develop skillsets and knowledge in all aspects of engineering of our products. The program is comprised of 4 periods of 6 month increments dedicated assignments within various departments within the company such as: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, project management, applications engineering, field service / assembly.

This position is onsite in Waukesha, WI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assignments, duties, and activities will vary throughout the rotation based on department

• This is a very hands-on position that includes disassembly, startup of equipment and travel to customer locations to learn all aspects of the business

• Permanent placement into a specific role will be determined after successful performance within the rotation is completed

• Job duties and activities may include but not limited to following:

Field Service / Start-up / Assembly / Testing

• Hands-on exposure to inspection, assembly and testing product and skids for engineered to order products
• Travel to customer locations to perform system start-up, rebuilds, part replacement, etc.
• Troubleshoot & resolve system performance

Applications Engineering

• Prepare bid proposal packages including scope, specifications, process layout, drawings, and pricing.
• Potentially interact with customers to obtain and review technical specifications and other information necessary to prepare sales proposals.
• Participate in troubleshooting efforts for resolving customer inquiries

Project Management

• Develop skills to manage projects from receipt of order to shipment / commissioning of equipment in the field
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to gain an understanding of processes and manage deliverables according to schedule
• Gain knowledge of all activities that take place while executing an order

Electrical Engineering

• Execute changes to designs based upon customer order requirements
• Create modifications to existing PLC programs
• Generate associated panel drawings, BOMs and wiring schematics
• Participate in new product development process

Required Qualifications:

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Capable of working on multiple projects at once

• Highly organized with prioritization and time management skills

• PC literate, including Microsoft Office software

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Education:

• BS Engineering degree: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or other engineering degrees considered
• Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.2

Travel: Up to 25% travel, domestic and occasional international locations.
