    We are looking to hire an employee with the talent to help us to expand our enterprising business. The person we hire will need to bring a high level of energy, positivity, and can-do attitude to work every day. This position is a full time position that will spend part of the time doing bookkeeping position in an estate planning law firm, and part of the time doing legal assistant work (1/3 bookkeeping and 2/3 legal assistant). This position includes working closely with the owner and our team to ensure projects are completed and providing various reports and analysis as needed. For the bookkeeping portion, we are looking for someone to input data, cut checks, create and analyze financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments. For the legal assistant we are looking for someone to help in our Estate and Trust Administration department. Our ideal candidate has a finance-related degree and is familiar with accounting software packages, specifically Quickbooks Online. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company and provide reports to the Owner. They should also be computer savvy, MacOS preferred. Responsibilities: • Set up new client and associated financial details in our practice management and accounting systems • Prepares financial reports (mainly through Quickbooks) • Enters clients' payments into the accounting system, prepares the bank deposit, balances daily reports, and upon approval, assures that deposits are delivered to the bank. • Prepares checks and makes sure all bills are paid on time • Prepare bank reconciliations Qualifications: • Basic Accounting Principles • Quickbooks Online • Microsoft Word • Microsoft Excel • Mac OS Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000 yearly
