The HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER will be responsible for supporting all business areas at our head office and will work closely with office management to drive and support the implementation of the company’s strategic HR and compensation programs, initiatives, policies, and procedures.

This role will support and participate in the achievement of Roth’s Fresh Markets’ business objectives with consideration to the company’s greatest asset, our people.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Leading, implementing and maintaining all HR initiatives aligned to support and achieve overall strategy & business goals
• Driving and supporting the implementation of the company’s strategic HR and compensation programs, initiatives, policies, and procedures by working closely with office management
• Serving as the point of contact for Leadership and Employees
• Advising Leadership in areas of learning & development, organizational change, performance management, succession planning, attendance management, culture, complaint resolution, harassment investigations and disciplinary action.
• Identifying and addressing all employee relations issues as well as maintaining the reporting & investigation process
• Driving initiatives to promote employee engagement and creating and maintaining a productive and positive work culture
• Participating in job evaluations where necessary and sharing analyses with management
• Assisting in research, development, implementation, and review of HR related projects
• Ensuring compliance with company HR policies and employment law requirements
• Communicating key HR related messages, programs and initiatives to office management team members
• Fostering a progressing and positive relationship within the office
• Creates and posts job postings, screens and identifies candidates, phone screens and participates in the interview and selection process
• Administering and supporting team member payroll, including the collection, data entry and submission of payroll

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• At least 3 years of experience in an HR capacity
• Post-secondary education or diploma in Human Resources or related education is considered a strong asset
• Previous experience dealing with employee relations
• Experience with the change management
• Experience with HR management information systems and similar applications
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
