Job Description
Performs payroll administration and oversight duties responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related services including recordkeeping and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Thorough knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and principles.
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to payroll.
Detail-orientated with computer skills to include Word, Excel, report writing software, and three or more years of HRIS experience.
Experience with Ultipro software or similar Software-as-a-Service systems preferred.
Perform daily payroll department operations
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc)
