    Roto is searching for an experienced and creative Project Manager to collaboratively lead an energetic team of interdisciplinary exhibit designers in planning, designing and co-creating custom interactive exhibits, play spaces and immersive experiences for museums, science centers, children’s museums, zoos, aquariums, and similar destinations. Together we are making a difference in the lives of small and large communities, using our talents to build genuine human connections through environmental design, immersive media, interactive games, and unforgettable storytelling.

    Successful candidates are curious, resourceful and thrive on teamwork. They also can demonstrate effective management and execution of exhibition and interpretive elements at a high level of quality, on-time, and on-budget.

    On our team, you will:

    Manage the coordination, task assignments, schedule, budget, client relationships, vendor relationships and subcontracts, and day-to-day process and workflow for 2-4 concurrent projects through all phases of design, fabrication, and installation

    Contribute to a high level of quality in the work by identifying opportunities and risks, and engaging team members for support in overcoming obstacles

    Research, brainstorm, and explore creative and innovative design ideas and solutions with an interdisciplinary team

    Develop interpretive and interactive engagement techniques for exceptional visitor experiences

    Develop and maintain collaborative and respectful relationships across the company, as well as external project management, exhibit design, curatorial, architecture, engineering, and construction teams

    Travel domestically and occasionally internationally to visit project sites and participate in presentations and collaborative meetings with clients and external stakeholders

    Your qualifications and education:

    At least 5 years of experience and demonstrable success managing complex creative projects, with an emphasis on work for physical spaces or experiential environments that incorporate interactive or media elements

    Fluency Microsoft Office is essential

    Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup is a plus

    Be willing to relocate to the Columbus, Ohio, area (timing can be negotiated based on individual circumstances)

    Be willing and able to travel and work long and/or unusual hours as necessary to accommodate exhibit installation, shipment, and external stakeholder meetings
