Culligan Water of Morehead City is currently seeking a Route Driver to join our team. We are a family owned and operated business that has been servicing the Eastern NC region for over 50 years. This current position requires making deliveries to both residential and commercial customers along specific routes around Morehead City and surrounding areas. Our drivers are expected to be outgoing, team oriented, and courtious, while delivering a high degree of professionalism. Since many of our delivery locations are governmental, background checks, drug screening, and excellent driving records are required. All candidates are expected to lift 40+ pounds throughout the day. You will be responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle daily and forklift training will be provided. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic in return for long term career opportunities and growth potential.

Responsibilities

Deliver water treatment products and bottled water to homes and businesses in an efficient and timely manner

Prepare, process, and execute delivery orders in addition to collecting related monies and issuing invoices

Handle customer issues, complaints, and problems courteously and promptly while exhibiting an overall customer-focused style of service

Follow all safety protocols and company regulations

Consistently uphold the cleanliness standards of company vehicles and equipment

End-of-route supervisor check-ins, with daily recaps

Daily loading and unloading of route trucks by use of a forklift.

Qualifications

High school Diploma or equivalent GED

1-3 years of route experience preferred, although not required

A valid driver’s license

Ability to use a mobile device or tablet

Detail-oriented, highly organized

Able to effectively engage with strangers and establish professional relationships

Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates

Clean and professional appearance

Able to regularly lift 50 lbs
