Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a full‑time Routing Dispatcher to support and coordinate daily transportation operations. In this critical role, you will manage vehicle movement, assign drivers, plan routes, and coordinate shuttle and charter services to ensure all operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Available Shift

Monday – Friday | 3:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Key Responsibilities of a Routing Dispatcher:

• Oversee daily shuttle and charter routing operations
• Plan, route, and coordinate transportation services in accordance with company policies and contractual requirements
• Assist with developing weekly driver schedules and make real‑time adjustments as needed
• Serve as the primary point of communication for drivers, providing direction and operational support
• Monitor daily performance and prepare activity and service reports
• Assign vehicles and coordinate with maintenance to schedule inspections and repairs
• Communicate with customers regarding schedules, reservations, and service inquiries
• Accurately process bookings, changes, and cancellations
• Partner with Safety and Training teams to ensure regulatory and operational compliance
• Respond promptly and professionally to service disruptions or customer concerns

Qualifications of a Routing Dispatcher:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience in dispatching, routing, fleet coordination, or transportation operations (preferred)
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Reliable, proactive, and team‑focused work approach
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
