This role is ideal for dependable, detail‑driven individuals who excel in fast‑paced environments and enjoy coordinating fleet activity to keep operations running efficiently.
What You’ll Do as a Routing Dispatcher:
- Assign and dispatch trips to drivers based on real‑time demand and availability
- Monitor live fleet activity to ensure prompt, reliable service
- Communicate route details, updates, and any changes clearly to drivers
- Maintain accurate records of trip logs, schedules, and driver assignments
- Work closely with operations teams to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Respond to unexpected challenges quickly and professionally
What We’re Looking for as a Routing Dispatcher:
- Experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics (preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to stay calm and productive in a time‑sensitive environment
- Familiarity with dispatch systems or GPS fleet tracking software (a plus!)
- Valid driver’s license required
