    • The Dispatch Center is 24/7/365. Schedules are based on needs of the business and can flucatuate.
    • Part-time 16HRS = 8HRS shifts 2 Days per Week – Saturday and Sunday
    • Full-time 32HRS = 6HRS shifts 5 Days per Week – Days of week may vary
    • Full-time 40HRS = 8HRS shifts 5 Days per Week – Days of week may vary

    Duties of a Routing Dispatcher:

    • Ability to multi-task
    • Minimum 2 years in a call center or dispatch environment
    • Familiar with MS Suite with focus in Excel
    • Calendar and scheduling software
    • CRM Customer Relationship management software
    • Help Desk or Call Center Software
    • Internet Browser software
    • Geographic or Map software
    • Expert Customer Service Skills
    • Expert Decision-Making Skills
    • Requires a high school diploma.
    • Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed. Examples include counter clerks, and rental car clerks, customer service representatives, bank teller.
    • Employees will receive on the job training with experienced employees. A recognized apprenticeship program may be associated with these occupations.

    Responsibilities of a Routing Dispatcher:

    • Dispatching and scheduling all transportation for WHC programs/clients

    • Perform as a Routing specialist with on-demand driver routing and any other necessary support

    • Monitors all trips, routes while being engaged and ready to make necessary adjustments to maximize on time delivery of service

    • Confirm driver availability with driver and WHC clients

    • Manage transportation accidents, incident reports, Driver and program schedule changes/updates

    • Coordinate Drivers and programs with Road Supervisors and department managers as needed

    • Answer calls, text messages, emails, chat groups and radio alerts within a timely and professional manner

    • Handles passenger and client inquiries while always exhibiting professionalism and courtesy

    • Complete other duties as assigned DISPATCHER JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Schedule or dispatch Drivers to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios, messages or telephones.

    • Prepare daily work and run schedules.

    • Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service.

    • Receive or prepare work orders.

    • Record and maintain files or records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, accounting, or other dispatch information.

    • Determine types or amounts of personnel required, according to program specifications.

    • Advise personnel about traffic problems, such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, or other hazards.

    • Oversee all communications within specifically assigned programs.
