Job Summary Do you like to be part of a killer team!? Are you good in a fast-paced kitchen environment, but don’t like ‘too many cooks in the kitchen’? How about working in a food truck/trailer where you don’t have to stop and take food orders? Did we mention that 90% of your food is scratch prepped and ready for easy execution, and you get to work on location at one of Arizona’s best and coolest breweries?
The Roadside Stove is not your run of the mill mobile food operation. In addition to working with one of the fastest growing and best food service teams in Northern Arizona… Our kitchen puts out restaurant quality food and is supported by an off-site prep team along with a full-time management team.
The Satchmo’s Family is growing their concepts. We’re on a path of radical growth and change for the ‘23/’24 season and are ready to add to our already awesome work family.
It should be noted that the Roadside Stove is NOT operated by Mother Road Brewing Co
Duties and Responsibilities: The right candidates for this job… Someone looking to become a leader, be a part of productive, and positive culture where people strive do their best and to help grow that culture, as well as take exceptional care of each other and the guests.
Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members
Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
Follow all food safety regulations
Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management
Must be available on weekends
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s or Food Manager's Certification
Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
